How to Plant Seeds

Planting seeds is simple, rewarding, and the first step to creating your own lush greenery! Follow these steps for a thriving start:

1. Prepare Your Supplies

• Seeds: Choose high-quality seeds from Instalyfe.
• Containers/Seed Trays: Use pots, trays, or even biodegradable seedling pots. Ensure they have proper drainage holes.
• Soil: Use nutrient-rich, well-draining soil suitable for the seed type. A mix of potting soil and compost works well for most plants.
• Water: Clean, room-temperature water.
• Light Source: Natural sunlight or grow lights, depending on your plant's needs.

2. Pre-Treat Seeds (Optional)

Some exotic seeds may require special preparation, such as:

• Scarification: Gently nick or sand the seed coat to help water penetrate.
• Soaking: Soak seeds in water for 12–24 hours to soften the coat and speed up germination.
• Stratification: Chill seeds in a refrigerator for a few weeks if they need a cold period to germinate.

3. Plant the Seeds

• Fill your container with soil, leaving about 1 inch of space from the top.
